The terms on which prints are sold and this site may be used.

Last updated:

Who you are buying from

[PLACEHOLDER — your trading name, whether you trade as a sole trader or a limited company, your company number if applicable, and a contact address. UK consumer law requires a buyer to be able to identify and reach the seller.]

Orders and acceptance

[PLACEHOLDER — when a contract is formed. Standard position: your order is an offer, and the contract exists once dispatch is confirmed. State that prints are made to order.]

[PLACEHOLDER — this section needs real wording. See the note at the foot of the page.]

Prices and payment

[PLACEHOLDER — that prices are in pounds sterling, when they may change, and that payment is taken at checkout via Stripe. If you become VAT registered, this section must say so explicitly.]

Delivery

[PLACEHOLDER — dispatch timescales, carriers, what happens if an item arrives damaged, and who bears the risk in transit. Cross-reference the Shipping & Returns page rather than repeating it.]

Limited editions

[PLACEHOLDER — what an edition number guarantees: how many will ever be printed at that size, whether other sizes are separately editioned, and what the certificate covers. This is a promise buyers pay a premium for, so it needs to be precise and then honoured.]

Liability

[PLACEHOLDER — a standard limitation clause. Note that consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 cannot be excluded, and any wording that tries to will simply be unenforceable.]

Governing law

[PLACEHOLDER — typically the law of England and Wales, or Scotland / Northern Ireland as applicable.]

A note for the site owner

This page is structured but intentionally unwritten. Terms of sale are binding statements about your obligations under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 — generated placeholder prose that reads like law but isn't would be worse than an obvious gap. Adapt a reputable template, or have a solicitor review it, then delete this section.
